Curious about music, but nervous to be a complete beginner as an adult? Join our 16‑week, no‑pressure group class that is dynamically designed around student interests.
Try guitar, piano, drums, and more in a small, friendly group of like-minded adults! 30-minute classes on weeknights in Ayr & Cambridge. Come play and unwind with us while discovering new methods of creative self-expression.

Children’s Beginner Classes
Our small, beginner-friendly group classes teach children and tweens how to play familiar songs the fun way!
Expect clear milestones, simple home practice, and fast learning with songs like:

We balance playful learning with solid reading, rhythm, and technique over 16 weeks. With every 30-minute class, kids build their confidence and creative self-expression by exploring music with their peers.
Plus, students will prepare for a mini-concert at the end of the session to celebrate their progress!

Beginner Guitar Group
We get strumming from week 1, introducing concepts like open chords, power chords, riffs, progressions, and tab reading. Review weeks, games, and easy ensemble playing encourage teamwork that leads to fun group jams beyond the class.
Students emerge with a solid chord vocabulary, a knack for originality, and a strong sense of confidence to play their favourite songs!
For: Ages 8-12, beginner-level

Beginner Drum Group
With a focus on confidence and self-esteem to play in a group, we explore drum set basics, stick control, and steady 4/4 grooves in a play-along setting.
Students will develop coordination and reading skills, understand note values, rests and fills, and practice improvisation. Expect a boost to their creativity and ability to collaborate, too!
For: Ages 8-12, beginner-level
